Today, I'm gonna share you the TAB score of a very cool song.
The song is called "Limehouse Blues" performed by Joe Pass.
There are several versions of this song which Joe had recorded.
And today I'm going to share you is the version
from the album "Virtuoso #4
Virtuoso #4
I like that one very much.
So I transcripted that song to the tab score.
Let's get started.

See the red line ? That's the rule of this song.
See below.

That's called a triplet feel or a swing feel. That is used in jazz .
That means that when a pair of 8th notes are to be played, the 1st note has
a slightly longer duration than normal and the 2nd note has a slightly shorter
duration than normal.
Usually the ratio is roughly 66% to 33% as opposed to the normal 50-50.
Let's go next.
3rd & 4th sec.

Joe sometimes uses hammer-on, pull-off, and slide techniques
to make the song groovy.
5th & 6th sec.

In these sections, I think the 7th measure is one of the difficult parts
in this song to get the feeling. It's a little bit confusing.
So if you felt that it's difficult, you better practice as slow as you can
and soon you get what's going on there.
7th & 8th sec.

Thank you. Good luck !!!
